Remote Jobs UK Club is run by me, Shelley Longden, as a sole trader in the UK. I'm responsible for the personal information you give me. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
What I collect
- Your name and email address.
- The alerts you choose (part-time, full-time, daily, Friday roundup).
- Your membership status and payment history. Your card details go straight to the payment provider. I never see or store them.
- Anything you send me by email.
Why I use it
- To send you the job alerts you've paid for, and to manage your membership. This is needed to provide the service you've signed up for.
- If you join the waiting list, to tell you when the club opens. You can ask me to remove you at any time.
- To keep the records I'm legally required to keep for tax.
I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps me run the club
- Kit sends the emails and holds the subscriber list.
- Stripe takes payments on Kit's behalf.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and handles email sent to my address.
- Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site, so your browser connects to Google when the page loads.
Some of these companies are based in the US. They use legal safeguards approved for transferring data out of the UK.
How long I keep it
I keep your details while you're a member. If you leave, I delete them within 12 months, except payment records, which I keep for six years for tax purposes.
Cookies
This website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, or ask me to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email me and I'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
